The CIS experts have coordinated the documents on cooperation in the law enforcement sector at a meeting in Minsk, reporters learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.
The agenda included two documents. The first one was the draft agreement between the Russian Government and the Commonwealth of Independent States on the operation of the bureau on coordination of the fight against organized crime and other dangerous types of crimes in the CIS member states on the territory of the Russian Federation. The document was finalized to include the proposals of Russia and Tajikistan. It will be submitted to the CIS Heads of State Council for further consideration.
The second document was the draft protocol on the introduction of amendments to the agreement on cooperation in the fight against automobile theft. The document was coordinated taking into account the proposals made by Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
